Gosh how do I go about writing my personal experience in Kyustendil?
In September I was asked to join a group of 9 to go Kyustendil, Bulgaria, to the Galloway's Ministry. It took me two months of struggling with the flesh and a few scriptures guidance from the Holy Spirit before I obeyed the Lord. Blessed The Lord, He gave me two scriptures to confirm the blessing. 1. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. Psalm 138:8 2. 'Behold, I have set before you an open door' Revelations 3:7.8 Instead of going to support the leader of the group and coming home to get on with my Christian life in the UK. The compassion of Jesus, which I have prayed for so much, has manifest in Kyustendil with the Roma people of Bulgaria.
I was there for 5 days. The only way I can describe it is that JESUS IS ALIVE, to see their love and belief of Jesus, and their enthusiasm to tell others, the great joy of receiving Bibles, knowing their divine right to healing, with expectations, believing that Jesus had took all on the cross, hungry to learn and understand The Word, praying, their praise and worship.
There is a Service somewhere in Kyustendil in villages every night. Lead Pastor supporting Pastors thinking nothing of travelling over an hour on bumpy roads, to support a service, with musician to play and sing with the congregation. Services lasting 2 hours, afterwards prayer, every Saturday a two-hour Bible class with prayer for leaders and pastors.
When I got home to the UK, I cried. To walk into a beautiful warm house with all I need. We are so pampered living in the UK. Blessed mightily by Our Heavenly Father. When I came back to my family home in the UK in 2009 with nothing but my clothes, a few books and of course JESUS. The Lord took the money and supplies of this world for His kingdom to bless me.
Most important for me while in Bulgaria the Lord show me a gift that I had not been working in, prophecy. It was so open for me at the services and I could see clearly. At first it was scary and I was concerned it could be from the flesh. Had a few sleepless nights but at each meeting I found I could not stop myself. Blessed the third night I read an old devotional, below.
The end result of prophecy is to comfort, encourage, edify, strengthen, exhort, stimulate and help. These should be the guidelines for prophecy within the New Testament church. We, as believers, are given the sole responsibility in ministry to build others up. This takes place in various ways as we walk in love, promote harmony and peace, and seek the true welfare of others. We must prophesy unto the edifying of the church, and speak things that are good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others. During this trip I asked many questions of The Lord at night in my bed and He answered straight away. I found during those few days it was so open and transparent, now I am back in the UK I will not let that go. The door is open, I am in this world but not of this world. Romans 12:2
I was blessed, loved and appreciated more than I could ever of given. Love to Bobby and her husband, Lubcho, Alex and his fiancée and all your precious Sheep.
Blessings and love with a thankful heart
Your Sister Annmarie
It is a real Joy and honor to be a part of your Ministry in Bulgaria,
God is working in you and through you, He has gifted and equipped you for the job he has called you to do.
Since my visit two years ago and coming back to Bulgaria now, I feel your ministry has expanded greatly, your hard work and perseverance is paying off.
So encouraging to see the youth speaking clear English, I thank God for your obedience and perseverance.
Thank you for letting us be a part of one of the Bible study groups.
We were very encouraged to see the teacher side of you, Chance, as you taught with such clarity.
I thank God for your lives, I have seen how you put others needs before your own needs, God will reward you for all your hard work.
