The past two weeks have been busy. The 15th was the first day of school and we went to celebrate with the kids at the school that we had the camp this summer with. The weekend before that we took our friends and translators high up into the mountains to visit Stanimir's mother. They don't have a car and it had been 2 years since we last visited her. She lives in an institution up out of sight. We sat with her under the apple trees and sang Christian songs and brought her soft things to eat. I cannot help but choke up every time I see Stanimir, a strong tough Bulgarian man, embrace his mother and watch tears flow down his face.
We spent last Saturday in the mountains of northwestern Bulgaria teaching pastors and leaders from the area. It was a great success, and they received the Word with such JOY! This week our intern, Karson, left to visit the UK and Ireland so we took advantage of being in the capital for Jessie's 17th birthday. She loves fish and it is quite expensive here ($10 is a lot for Bulgaria anyways), so she was treated to salmon and a movie for her birthday. She is such a blessing to our family, and she is now the oldest with Mitch and Catherine gone.
Chance couldn't come with us to Sofia because Adam has been here all week and they've been traveling the country working on the church plant project- conducting more interviews and speaking with others about the plan.
*Budget met through October! We thank God for all of you that have given to support us and the spreading of the gospel here in Bulgaria. May God, who is rich in mercy, bless your seed and supply abundantly for your every need, whatever it may be. We LOVE you so very much and thank God for you. We pray for you and appreciate you more than words and we hope you know that!
*The opportunity to love on Stanimir's mother and spend time with her.
*The relationship with the pastor in Truhn. I just love how in the picture these two pastors and one leader are walking down the street arm-in-arm. Such a blessing to see unity in the body! *We praise the Lord for the blessing of LIFE Christian Academy and Beverly Pope! How it has helped and changed our life for the better! If you are in need of a great school, check it out!
*We are still in need for the Nov.-Dec. budget deficit if you feel led to give toward that. We are resting in Him because He has done and will continue to do great and mighty things!
*Prayers are needed for the projects still in the beginning and middle stages as we form foundations here to operate them through- agricultural, church plant, and girl's home.

Many thanks to those that love and pray for us. We value your partnership and support. Being on the frontline of ministry requires a definite group of people willing to pray and uplift us, and we know we would/could not be here without you all. You are loved much!
